World Series update

After 5 games in this year' Major League Baseball World Series between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals, the Rangers need one more win as they lead the series 3 games to 2 while St. Louis needs to win both games 6 and 7 to win the Series.

There's just one problem: Game 6, which was supposed to be playing right now has been postponed until tomorrow in St. Louis as it has been raining like crazy down there.

Should Texas win tomorrow or Friday, they will be having their pitchers bat instead of using a Designated Hitter. Why? The Cardinals are in the National League and teams in the NL have the pitchers in the batting order. The Rangers are in the American League and use a Designated Hitter in place of the pitcher in the batting order.

Because the NL won the All-Star game in Arizona in July, St. Louis hosted Games 1 and 2 and will host Game 6 and (if neccesary) Game 7. Texas hosted Games 3, 4, and 5.
